Well I haven’t posted much lately. I have been so busy. But hopefully now I can get back to posting a little more often since I know how much you enjoy hearing about what’s going on in my life. .

So what’s been going on since my last post… I added a new company to my repertoire and begin continuing education to become and HHP. What’s that you say? I know, as if I don’t have enough to do.

First, for the company. It’s Watkins. It’s been around since the 1800’s. Your grandmother has probably heard of it. I fell in love with their organic cleaner and washing soap and decided to join. You should check it out. Join my mailing list and I’ll send you some samples. You can order from anywhere and shipping is pretty reasonable. But of course if you are local to me, you can save on shipping by ordering during my monthly bulk orders. So enough for the shameless plug. lol. Next, as for schooling…Most anyone that knows me know that I have children with very severe allergies. This is the inspiration for my natural bath and body line and other things. The money I make from my various businesses really goes to offset expenses surrounding the care of my children. For years I’ve done lots of research on allergies and natural living. The things I have learned over the years has helped my family tremendously. I made the decision earlier this year to take on formal schooling in this area and am now working on my HHP degree. I hope to learn more about helping my kids and maybe even help others that are on the allergy trek through their lives as well. I plan to also get certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and American Naturopathic Medical Association. It’s going to be a long haul especially with having to take care of family and kids too, but I feel it’s something I must do.

Now, for the next fun news. We have decided to get another dog. I current little fellow needs a playmate. He plays with the kids and love them, but some dogs are just pack dogs and our little baby is starving for some extra play time. However, instead of going to a breeder we have decided to adopt a rescue dog. She is on her way, I will post a picture of her when we get her. I am currently trying to work out all the details of getting her. Her foster parent lives a ways away so we are trying to coordinate everything. We are so excited!

Well, just when I am set to update my blog, I get locked out. lol. There was an apparent problem with a plugin used in WP that was locking out many people from their blogs. It took me a while to get it fixed. Unlike other scripts that I install and run myself, I opted on the server install of WP as offered by my web host. I took me while to track down the problem and the fix and then get someone in Tech Support to implement it. At first I thought someone had hacked my blog, but then I saw where others were having the same problem after googling the error code. Can you imagine my surprise when I was told (via the script) that my IP address was blocked for illegal or malicious activity. :0 Anyway, I’m back up and running and have started updating again. Please be sure to let me know if you’re reading my blog. I generally just write for my own benefit, but it’s nice to know if someone else is reading.
